NR1 Letter to Antonio Ribera about the Vienna attack

Forgive us for intruding once again on your peaceful life, after this long period of time, two Earth years, disturbing you with an unwelcome and unfortunate missive.

Gentleman of Earth: we wish to express to you personally our sadness at the disastrous and inhuman event that took place in the town of Vienna in the country of Austria (between the hills of the Leitha and the Wienerwald, in the Earth year 1985, in the month of February, an OAWOLEAIDA), in which two of our brothers were involuntarily caught up. There is no need to remind you of the number of victims who succumbed to so merciless an attack at the airport of that Earth town.

My brothers EIEEVEE 7 son of ERAE 5 and OBAA 16 son of IDUUOA 46 were travelling to Tel Aviv when, at the airport called Schwechat in Vienna, their bodies were seriously wounded by shrapnel. Sir, forgive us for not describing the event in detail, but the deep grief at so unimaginable an event makes the memory cloud the conscious state of mind I need to write this letter.

Nor is there any need to set out for you the deep conflict that would have arisen had our UMMOALEWEE been in contact with any Earth body (although such contact has been established sporadically in some countries such as France and Australia, and with some scientists of the United States of America who are notable for their human qualities): asking for explanations would be like asking a small child to stop playing in order to take up politics or hold a senior position in a company.

Kind sir: we deeply regret that the resu resumption of our contacts, both written and by telephone, is seriously disturbed, and it is very likely that the final break-off of all relations with Earth will take effect. Unfortunately, a Government of the planet Earth already holds two bodies of our brothers, who died accidentally in a central European country, and we would not wish accidentally to add to any human laboratory on Earth.

Thanks to our technology we were able to recover our injured brothers in Vienna by posing as doctors and driving an ordinary ambulance, since our brothers' departure for Tel Aviv was being recorded visually from a distance. We possess a filmed document that would reveal the truth about the attack and would make clear to two Middle Eastern governments the true identity of the attackers and of the group claiming responsibility. Sir, any mind that is driven to kill proclaims not freedom but its own destruction. You are returning to a primitive world of blood that only a higher authority will be able to pacify.

I beg you, dear friend, to forgive this feeling of distrust towards your species, all the more so as you have just celebrated the nativity of Woa made man; I express my wish for happiness in your home, as well as in those of the people dear to us.

Our stay in Spain is located in a town near the provinces of Alicante, Valencia, Murcia and Albacete. It is not surprising that the postmark is registered in the coastal city of Alicante, since at this moment three brothers from UMMO, coming from Belgium and Denmark, are here.

The end of our stay was brought about by a telephone conversation that Luis Jiménez Marhuenda had with a person we have not identified, but whose identity we would dearly like to be known. Had it not been for the incident, Luis Jiménez of Alicante would already have learned of our stay in his beautiful city. Nor is it certain that we will wait much longer to reveal the meaning of the short conversation between Mr Luis Jiménez Marhuenda and his young interlocutor. That gentleman's voice, like those of our friends on Earth, is very well known to our brothers from UMMO. By analysing the wave amplitude produced by the articulation of the words, we have concluded that the unknown interlocutor is a young person (20-25 Earth years of age), of YIEE sex, living in Alicante. We have been deeply interested by her concern about our existence, and it seems that she knows how to decipher the coded message about the location of our atomic shelter in the central Iberian region of the Spanish system. You, kind sir, hold a coded report on the existence of that shelter.

I earnestly beg you to get in touch with your brother Luis Jiménez Marhuenda of Alicante, so that he may locate our young unknown woman by telephone. I also ask you to send him a photocopy of the contents of this letter-report.

During our absence from the country of Spain, we have been able to observe the great intellectual and neurocortical development that the child and youth population has undergone in the last two decades. Through our XANMOO AYUBAA (computer network) we have been able to establish that the present generations have developed on a scale of three to one compared with the previous ones; certain evolutionary mechanisms bring about an improvement of the somatic structure, preventing degeneration or regression of the living structure or body. This evolutionary mechanism corresponds to a series of possible mutations discovered in children born between 1960 and 1980, with the symbol [handwritten symbol] (P). We must congratulate Earth's genetic science on its great progress in the field of mutations and of the magnetic attractions exerted by molecules.

But a grave danger hangs over your lives, because you constantly alter atmospheric conditions that ought to follow their normal course. For example, in a test of military attack, by detonating an H or Hydrogen bomb you are able to alter by an order of (1/26)³ the normal course whereby a storm should arise in that same place, or a period of drought in a typically humid region.

Please be aware once more of the grave problem that concerns each and every one of you. We ask you, if only symbolically, to think of your children, of those men and women who one day will have to solve their own problems, the problems of their own parents.
